From his wiki records, looks a good replacement for Navarro while he is out recovering.

Diego Camacho Quesada (born October 3, 1976 in Madrid) is a Spanish professional footballer, who plays as a defensive midfielder.

A late bloomer – he was still playing lower league football at almost 26 – he represented nine different clubs in his career, namely Levante UD.

[edit] Club career
Camacho played the early part of his career with modest clubs, in the third division. In 2002–03, however, he signed with La Liga side Recreativo de Huelva, from Granada CF. On September 14, 2002, he made his top flight debut, in a 3–0 loss at Valencia CF, as Recre was finally relegated.

In 2004, Camacho joined newly promoted Levante UD. After one promotion and relegation, he joined another freshly promoted side, Real Valladolid, in 2007–08. After appearing scarcely during the season, he proceeded to move to Sporting de Gijón (also promoted), in a 1+1-years deal.

On May 23, 2009, in one of his 31 league appearances, defensive-minded Camacho scored a rare but crucial goal, in a 2–1 win at Valladolid, as the Asturias outfit eventually avoided relegation; he appeared slightly less in the 2009–10 season, with Sporting finishing in 15th position, again good enough to prevent a drop and, at nearly 34, was released by the club

He's had a lot of clubs but all hovering around La Liga. So looks like he knows his onions.

And here he is signing for one of them and speaking in Spanish:

Some of the comments by people really do amaze me...

Don't some of you not realise by now that Poyet & Bloom keep their cards VERY close to their chest and, unlike the last regime, we won't know who we're signing until THEY want us to know?

There's nothing we can do about it so stop complaining. Gus will get the players in he wants - sometimes contract negotiations take longer than anticipated because both the clubs, the players and their agents want to get the best deal for themselves. That's no different to any job.

Scorchio, lets hope all the people in the background are not his support staff, coaches, family and hangers on, could be pricey if so.

This list has been going on since the players reported back for trainning in july.I'm almost ready to throw in the towel now and say that we won't get 20 goal striker. The club has left it to late which brings back shocking memories of the Knight era where his phone was switched off.

If we don't get a striker it will be a case of tough shit. I can think of 95 million reasons why i won't get bent out of shape if we don't sign a striker.
