No way was it ever going to happen. He is 32, said he wants to finish whilst playing for a club in highest level, we probably could never afford his wages and he lives up north where his big passion, his race horses are based. No way.

when this rubbish all started,owen was briefly interviewed just after the begining of the season on sky sports and said he had had no communication with us and had no intention of coming here because of his family and horse racing
