Many times with my Dad from the age of 6 until 15 when it was taken away from us. I loved that ground.

I could never compare it to the Amex though as I only went to the Goldstone as a child. They're totally different memories and experiences for me. I would have loved to been old enough to take in the full Goldstone match experience as drinking adult!

Stood on a milk crate in the South stand under the floodlights with my mate and his dad. Ended up sweeping the West Stand for £1 on 'Bob a job' week in the early 70's. Seemed a lot of money but it took almost four hours to do it with a single wide broom!

Yes, every year since 1973 at the age of 6.

Chicken run. Old south stand sitting. New South stand sitting. All the corners. Lego stand. West sitting, West standing. New North. Only part I didn't go in was the old north as my dad wouldn't let me!

How I miss that lovely, old, decrepit stadium.

First game, Bradford City 1969, age 10. By the age of 12, I was traveling from Ashington by bus and train, on my own most games.

I'm a 'sadly not' unfortunately!
I was introduced to the Albion by Paul (now BHA snappy!) when he had a spare ticket to Kidderminster away in the 99/00 season. Bumped into 2 mates from school while I was there & we've been going ever since!! They both went to the Goldstone though & remind of that fact every. single. game.

I first attended the Goldstone Ground in either 1953 or 1954. Bert Addinall was the Albion centre forward whose career with the club was during that period. The old West Stand deservedly was know as the Rabbit Hutch. I paid 9d to gain entry hence ......

Started going to The Goldstone early '60s. As well as Bobby Smith, there were some good players during the 60s including Wally Gould, Alex Dawson, Mel Hopkins, Jack Bertolini, Dave Turner and Stewart Henderson. The sixties and seventies, especially under Mullery, were great!

Took our son for his 11th birthday to watch Albion play Liverpool in the televised FA Cup. Albion won and we have all been season ticket holders ever since. He is now 43

19 years which means you'd probably have to be at least 23 to remember us playing there. We have loads of fans that age or younger although the poll results don't seem to match that up...yet

I'm quite surprised to see such a small number for those who haven't. Maybe the youngsters prefer Insta/Twit/Facebook for their interactions and news rather than a message board. I wpnder how many would vote that they've only watch the Albion at the Amex.

No from me and I'm 23 now. My First game was in 1999 at age 6. I had my first Albion kit in 1996 but for some reason never got taken to a game at the Goldstone, not that I would have remembered much. A shame really as I've heard so much about it on here and although I know in the mid 90's it wasn't what it once was, I'd still liked to have visited it just once.

Started going during the 1990/91 season. What a team then - Digweed, Crumplin, Codner, Bissett, Walker, Byrne, Small. I've probably missed out one or two. Deserved to go up and Mike Small joined West Ham in the summer for £400k and scored about 18 goals in the top division the next season.

It was all downhill from then apart from beating Leicester twice in the League Cup 1994 who were in the Premier League at the time.
