For sure, but while teams not that much further up the pecking order can just come in and asset strip the Albion on the playing side then there's a danger of us not making enough progress to generate enough income to keep things moving forward. IMHO there has to be a strategy for at least attempting to retain key players.

I wouldn't call it asset stripping but they have a profitable business, albeit thanks to some debt restructuring, and we currently don't. To do so we must increase our income so that when we move into the Amex the business does not require a 24hr drip feed from the chairman, that was the mistake that Bamber made and then couldn't sustain it.
