He is in the rehabilitation process and progressing, on the grass and kicking a ball, but not training with the squad yet. It's a guess as to when we will see him playing, but I don't expect to see him on the pitch till at least November, but more likely beyond that.
And this will be a totally different Solly March because he will need to learn to play with physical limitations he never had before.

These aren't the players you're looking for.

Modern surgery techniques and proper recovery physiotherapy means most patients attain 100% pre injury function.

No reason yet to think that Solly won't be back to his best again.

Tbf hasn't he come back from the same injury before (in the Championship)? I hope he comes back firing and with the confidence he had under RDZ.

I hope he does recover very well but no matter the older you get the harder it is to come back from injury. Just ask all those older than 60 you know.

If you include Georginio, which looks done, our squad looks very strong now. Being forced to bring off Minteh and to still have a quality, game-changing option on the bench today we've rarely had, for instance.

There's obviously still a huge gap at RB, which will hopefully be filled by Ferdi in the coming days, but our squad is stacked with talent. Certainly better equipped for also juggling playing in Europe, annoyingly!
I prefer Rutter. He's better than butter.

Hope not. I don't like it if I can hardly recognise the team as 'my Albion'. That's starting to look like a Chelsea team - just a lot of new players bought in every time.

Hopefully after a few matches I'll get to love our new team - I know it will always evolve season by season, but too many in at once and I'm likely to feel a bit of a disconnect.
We should pick our strongest 11 and play them every week, changing no more than one player (at the start of the season) or as injuries dictate during the season (although only when a steroid injection on match day is no longer effective) and do this for at least 10 years so you end up with 7 or 8 players appearing more than 500 times for the club.

Like Revie did at Leeds.

I detect a hint of sarcasm here. What I don't detect is a reason for it..............?

I'm just trying to forget the first 20 minutes when we tried our hardest to give Everton a 2 or 3 goal head start
Start of the 2 nd wasn’t good either

Hurzeler has some work which is a good thing , the result and is going forward was amazing

That save Steele did early on 😍 could see Verbruggen letting it in and their rushing Steele to try and get the ball, wonder if Verbruggen wouldn’t have passed it to them a once or twice
Steele made a decent save something rarely seen but the ball should not have landed in the danger area it should have been palmed outside the box with the pace on in.

Cheap shot having a dig at Bart.Steele did ok with Evertons only shot on target, should have been able to palm it to safety with the pace on it though. But well done ,He has been improved for the last couple of games.

....and most seasons it caught up with them. Competing in everything with 13-14 players...with their physicality and on those pitches. The best team in the land for 10 years should have filled their trophy cabinet but instead left a lot of space to be dusted. The perennial runners up..often let down by their managers over preparation and over thinking and over reliance on the same players. The more simple and relaxed approach at Liverpool was, over time, more successful.

It isn’t a dig at Bart, I could genuinely see him letting it in

Er, I was being facetious.

The modern game is a squad game, with team selection based on very specific game plans that vary according to the opposition, the occasion, and future fixtures.

Not particularly directed at your post. I was anticipating a certain type of reaction to it. I seem to have nipped it in the bud :lolol:
