Whilst I don't agree with a two fingered salute at opposition fans, there is something unfathomable about supporters giving grief to a player online and during a match then complaining that they get the slightest of reactions to it.

Yes I saw him in the middle of the fracas ..seemingly an instigator …then suddenly moved away on his own …..what did start that off?

Yep, no way that ref (or any other for that matter) is giving a second which is why they usually leave it until later in the game.

I find his constant shouting at defenders during England games very strange, but then keepers are a strange bunch.

To be honest, his punting of the ball over the entire England team into Row Z just after we'd equalised in the Euro final and were exerting a bit of pressure on Spain for the first time in the game still annoys me more than the possibility that he flicked the Vs at our fans the end of the game today.

The end of game fracas seemed to be VH coming over to tell Pickford he was faking injury after VH head butted Pickford’s fist which made Pickford fall to the ground in agony with an injured leg.
