Rubbish. He did nothing again yesterday. I was watching him in the first half and he's got Fraser syndrome - BIG TIME. People will always notice him because he runs around a lot and is often NEAR the ball, but try counting how many times he GETS the ball. It's barely at all. Dicker is carrying our midfield.

While everyone is busy wanking themselves silly over Dicker (who was very average yesterday), they fail to notice Crofts is actually quite strong in a tackle, can CARRY the ball forward, and has better distribution then Gerrard who is next to him.

No serously you cannot have a debate or discussion anymore on here without personal insults or unncessary insults without provocation. Its always been like that to a cetain extent but its MUCH worse now. i think a lot of the newbies recently are just hear to wind people up and be abusive c*nts basically.

It is not compulsary to praise EVERYTHING about the manager and team at all times. That is unhealthy and leads to complacency.

My post was a very resonable question apart from Forster where are the goals coming from ?. I did not slag off any players, I did not slag off the manager , I did not slag off BHAFC.

Name me three useful things he did with the ball. I can't even remember one. Fact is he's in what should be the busiest area of the pitch. If you're going to notice any player it should be your central midfielder. But week after week he runs around a bit, plays a few passes that even I could make, and not much else. He makes the occasional tackle I suppose. But someone with an obvious dearth of skill really should be flying into 50 tackles a match to compensate - and he doesn't. Sorry, but he's one of those players who won't embarrass himself (mainly because he never does anything) but if we want to progress he's not good enough. There is a reason a league 2 team got rid of him, and it's not because he's good enough for a side seeking league 1 promotion in the next two years.

Have been impressed with Crofts lately, Fitting in nicely with Dicker. Missed my 1st home game yesterday, had to work so I listened to the radio Commentary & heard John Byrne give crofts man of the match. I think JBs opinion means a lot more than your negative drivel.

Why to people continue to encourage TCB?

He knows he's wrong, he's one of a desperately small percentage (namely him) who can't see what Crofts brings to the team. The fact that people argue with him gives him a platform for his blinkered ramblings.

As I have said before it is either a case of not knowing what it takes to be a good midfield player, or he is so desperate for his initial assessment of Crofts and the others to be proved right that he will argue their case/ slag them off regardless of how they perform.

Can't be arsed to read all the bullshit you lot have posted. But thought I'd give my opinion on him. Thought he played pretty well yesterday. He clearly isn't the right player (ignoring his height) to play upfront with the ridiculous HOOF ball we continue to play. If we manage to keep the ball on the floor (which Murray looked to be doing), he'd be much more involved with the game. He has quick feet, and a good pass on him. Second half, we need to remember he was mostly playing on the wing due to having 10 men, and doing a VERY good job at tracking back.

We know he isn't Glenn Murray. Slade knows he isn't Murray (who's said Murray is the best striker in L1), but getting on his back is just stupid. Look how well it worked with Davies.

Don't be an idiot. It's a discussion forum. You're MEANT to discuss. And that includes things that are good and bad. Andrew Crofts is bad. My initial assessment of all our signings, despite being criticised at the time, is looking pretty good so I don't need to desperately prove myself right on every one.

I'm willing to bet my fearsome reputation that Crofts will never be a regular for us as a top 6 team. Of course, we may never become a top 6 team so it's irrelevant, but if we do he'll fall by the wayside.

But it's not a discussion people have with you is it? It's an argument where neither side is willing to back down, leading to a ridiculous thread with the same opinion posted over and over again.

Fair enough you are entitled your opinion on Crofts, but the way you seemingly maintain your views in spite of several excellent performances from the said player, drawing praise from manager and team mates, suggests to me that you are unwilling to change your views.

Your justification for your views on Fraser was that Slade released him at the end of last season, which is fine. Now Slade is playing Crofts every week and saying that 'every team needs someone like him', will you agree with him on this too?

By the end of the game everyone around us were laughing at Dickinson's "attempts" to win the ball. When Murray came on and completely showed him up quality-wise Dickinson suddenly realised he might have to, you know, run a bit?

I'm sorry, but anyone who thinks he had a good game yesterday was not facing the right way. His touch is woeful, he can't and won't head, he's lazier than Murray was, but without his class. Can't wait for our first choice partnership to be properly back together.

Some people are SAD if the only way they can make a case for their favourite striker is by slagging off the other ones.
