Good on him, to let 3 in the first half at home is bloody shocking. Sure the language at half time was choice

I'm glad he shouted at the defenders. Some one needs to. Some one needs to shout at the whole team. Every game now i'm seeing less and less passion and think that its down to whoever comes in to relight the passion for the stripes, and also us to give them not a moaning bunch of punters to perform for but a group of fans who are all behind the team and creating an atmosphere at the Withers.

A strikers job is to score goals. Dickinson did that.
A defenders job is to stop your opponents scoring. The defence did not do that.

Why is it hypocritical of Dickinson to have a go at them? Yeah, he missed a chance, but he put another away.

I was amazed at half time to see Virgo out on the pitch with the other subs playing keepy-uppy and having a laugh. In my day the captain was alongside the manager in that dressing room giving the lads a right dressing down.
I am guessing that it was Slade's decision for the captain not to be hearing the half time rollocking. Which begs other questions about Slade's relationship with his captain, and maybe also the captain's relationship with the rest of his team.

I'm sure at some point on Saturday all of the defenders did something that stopped a potential goal being scored. Unfortunatley on 3 occasions they didn't. Team game, win as one, lose as one. For what it's worth i'm glad to hear he did that, just hope he took a bit of shit back if he missed 2 sitters himself

Personally I prefer the players to do the talking on the pitch.

What are the fans supposed to think? That Dickinson cares more than other players?

My feeling is keep this sort of stuff in-house, it's hardly good for team morale when individual players blab to the press.

i think that dicko is totally in the right for having a pop at the defenders especially when he holds his hands up to the reporters and says that it is equally frustrating for the defenders when he isnt on his game, pat on the back if u ask me:clap::clap:
