He was class yesterday
Has the ability to beat players and then pick a pass, which we have been lacking.
Looking promising with regards to signing him to!!!
Great performance yesterday lets hope they keep it up!

I agree he had a good game yesterday and his weave and pass for Owusu on the second goal, not only was the most creative part of the game, but burst a bubble of pressure when we were well under the cosh.

Although I'd have given OGH man of the match, I would definitely say Dicker was a close second and looked by far the classiest player on the pitch to me

Top notch yesterday. He can pass, tackle, beat his man, he's up for battle, real sexy box to boxer.

Liked him a lot yesterday, thought he was fairly anonymous in his first game but has quietly got better and better ever since.

Random Thoughts

Despite the awful MA rein this season, he did us a massive favour and re-signed OGH. What a stroke of genius that has turned out to be.

After 20 random and largely ineffective loanees, it looks like Borrowdale, Dicker, Owusu and Andrew have conspired to save our bacon. I hope that puts to rest the idea that loanees don't give a shit about the shirt.

It looks like Birchall, Carole, Andrews, Bangura, Dixon and Livermore may have played their last games for the Albion. Add Jarrett to the long list of largely ineffective signings of the year.

Finally a final goodbye to Kerry Mayo

Would be nice to secure Owusu (to cover for our injury prone first choice duo) and Dicker in the off season. Not sure what you do with Davies or OGH for that matter but the club will have to figure it out in the coming months. If Fozzie is really done for good (ligaments) then maybe it isn't such a big issue.

Is the Lynch issue now clear cut? Off to NFFC for as much as we can get? Be nice to have him, Virgo, Elphick fighting for CB positions next year.

2009/10 Season Team

GK 1st Choice - Kuipers 2nd Choice - Sullivan

LB 1st Choice - McNulty 2nd Choice - TBD
RB 1st Choice - Whing 2nd Choice - Hinshelwood
CB 1st Choice - Virgo 2nd Choice - El Abd
CB 1st Choice - Elphick 2nd Choice - Cook

MF 1st Choice - Cox 2nd Choice - McLeod
MF 1st Choice - Dicker 2nd Choice - Frazer
MF 1st Choice - Loft
MF 1st Choice - TBD

Striker 1st Choice - Murray 2nd Choice - Owusu or Davies
Striker 1st Choice - Foster 2nd Choice - Hart

A couple of solid signings and we have the makings of a competitive League One team with cover. Russell Slade clearly deserves a two year contract and the bring in his own team.

THINGS ARE LOOKING BRIGHTON BEAUTIFUL TONIGHT..........

What is the situation as regards Gary Dicker he says in The Argus he wants to stay, Stockport are broke so has he come here with an option for us to buy him or is he expected to go back to Stockport next season. Apparently Slade wanted to sign him for Yeovil.

Would say get him signed now, as come season end better teams with more cash would find him useful.
