So last game at the Amex is coming up, and Gary Dicker thinks they owe the staff a performance at the Amex in light of their recent results....ummm what about the fans that have spent the money to come watch you play? Either way, hopefully we can smash Birmingham.

Edit: Not saying this season has been a let down, it certainly hasn't we have held our own, but I think the fans are owed a better performance for the last season game at the Amex.

I suppose the issue is more when you are so close to the play offs and fail a huge void appears, personally I had no expectation to be any near the play offs so not let down at all.

They haven't let me down either. Sure a play off place would have been nice, but in the end we just weren't good enough. I'm already looking forward to another cracking season in the Championship.

Once upon a time, there was an inflatable Gary Dicker. The inflatable Gary Dicker lived in an inflatable house, with an inflatable family. He played for an inflatable Brighton and Hove Albion with an inflatable Gus Poyet as his manager, an inflatable Charlie Oatway as his coach and played at an inflatable Amex stadium.

One day, the inflatable Gary Dicker took a pin to the inflatable Amex stadium. The inflatable Charlie Oatway let out a gasp and sent him to the inflatable Gus Poyets office.

The inflatable Gus Poyet said, "I'm very disappointed in you son. You've let yourself down, you've let me down and you've let the whole stadium down!"

Sounds a bit like a player sucking up to the boss to me!
Or maybe he's been off injured most of the season, and wants to thank the staff that helped him during that time.

Strange thing to say, IMO.

I don't feel let down at all, in fact, I've had a wonderful time this season.

Maybe he's just trying to get himself a new contract by doing some arse-licking.

21st wedding anniversary and off to New York for a week - to think how worried I was that it clashes with the play-off semi-finals! Worked out quite well all in all.

Just joking - except I really was bricking it about missing the play offs but it has been an amazing roller coaster of a season and I don't feel that I am owed anything. I do understand what Dicker is saying though - the game against Reading was good but we couldn't finish and the second half against Watford was great. How satisfying would it be to have a complete performance against Birmingham to finish off the season at the Amex?

What to do with the next ten weeks? - jeez but that's a long long time! I have a week of (voluntary) work I have to do and a couple of weeks away; the Olympics and the Euros - but it still leaves a big gap......................... maybe I could find a personal trainer to slough off the effects of all those pies...................now what is the test series this summer?
