dont worry Mr B...if we win 4-0 tommorow guess who will be at the game for scr for the away leg:thumbsup:
No doubt he'll do the full match commentary.

I'm sorry I know he's worked wonders for us in the past, but like Micky, he is seriously starting to undo all the good will he's earnt over the years.

He has got to find his bollocks and do the right thing. I know its hard for a man in his position to come out and say I've f***ed up, but it will be better for him and everyone else in the long run to do it sooner rather than later.

I would hate to hear the cries of "Sack the board" ringing out around Withdean, but I fear if things are not done soon unfortunatey he may start hearing it.

He has f***ed up and appointed a manager no one else would touch. He has appointed a manager on his way out of the game, and the results speak for themseleves.

Think some of you people are deluded if you keep comparing the stadiums, lets go back to the first 3 years at the withdean when getting tickets was so so tough, and lets remember how many people applied for tickets at the shitehole.

First game in the championship against coventry on a tuesday was around 26k and loads of 15-20k even in league 1.

Yes it seriously did ware off after a few years but thats the withdean for you, don't underestimate our potential:whisky:

While I absolutely agree with your point I can't work out if I'm reading your post correctly - 26k at Withdean ??? That must have been a bit cramped !!!

The idiots slating DK seem to think running a business is easy - if it's so easy then buy him ( and the majority shareholders ) out and show the rest of us how it's done.

If you think that all it takes is one bad season like this to have the crowd chanting 'sack the board' at Dick Knight then you either haven't been around for very long or you are so wrapped up in this little messageboard that you've lost touch with the world. There are a lot of people - mainly older than average - who remember all too well what it is that Knight has done for this club. OK, he has made mistakes and on the face of it bringing back Adams at the expense of Wilins may be one of them, but he is trying to run the club honestly. Chants like 'sack the board' should reserved for the sort of scumbags we have had to get rid of in the past - like many other clubs - who try to destroy clubs to line their own pockets. All DK has done is get rid of a crook and bring a few others who provide their money so that we still have a team to watch. If anyone tried to start a chant of 'sack the board' at Dick Knight they'd probably get attacked by plenty of other fans.

I don't understand why everyone is being so critical of Knight. He's trying to give a good image of Brighton as a football club - he's not going to say "we might just about get 9,000 through the gates". There's not really a danger of looking silly because for some games we will get that many, perhaps not a January game, but if we were playing Leeds in the Championship at the end of the season with lots riding on it, we would get 17,000.

Wasting your time, haven't you noticed there is a smallish minority here who have a limited grasp of reality ?

Frankly i do not consider Leeds to be that much of a fixture these days anyhow, and going by Elland roads attendances they are certainly a club in decline,in the situation we find ourselves the game v cheltenham is far and away more important.
