I will take a lot for me to turn against Knight but I think he has made a huge mistake with Adams. At exactly the wrong time we will be dropping a division and shipping fans. Falmer will open and only the diehards will care.

Adams has signed Virgo, Hawkins, Livermore, McLeod, Mayo, Hart, Richards, Savage, Anyinsah, Thornton, added to what was the core of a decent squad left behind by the previous incumbent. How can you blame Knight for that?

I would have agreed with you last May - But it seems he is immune to taking the flack and this situation lies with him and the board and know one else they have all stopped the momentum of our club.

I agree, but for me it depends on how he handles it now. If we go down it will be unforgivable.

Personally your post sums up for me why Dick Kinight should go.

He has made money available to someone who cant manage, despite all those signings being added to what you describe as the core of a decent squad left behind.............but failed to back someone (Wilkins) who could.

Someone who would be willing to take the club over, if Dick put the club up for sale I'm sure there would be at least one potential buyer but we all know Dicks dream and unfotuantley for us that dream is being funded by over-charged Albion fans.

f*** Dick Knights dream of opening Falmer, what about the dream of the club?

Congratulations, I've read some bollocks on here but that takes the biscuit.

1, sold 500k worth of players and spent 350k:rolleyes:

2,mr knight gets far to involved on pitch decisions

3,debts nearly 11 million,is that a well run club?if falmer wasn't due the club would fold with these debts.

the only bright spot is falmer but that has taken how long?although this isn't knights faultis.:rolleyes:

Did we really make a £150K profit in Jan? Not doubting you, just seem to remember that ins and outs were roughly balanced.

What on pitch decisions does he get involved in? Any facts to back this up?

How can you possibly blame the debts on Knight?? No chairman could possibly run the albion at Withdean without making a huge loss. By the way where does this 11 million figure come from?

Ok. I'll bite. Exactly how are the delays to Falmer Knight's fault??

How could DK do this, even if he wanted to, as he owns only 23% (approx) of the issued shares?
Btw the reason there is not a majority shareholder is deliberate and obvious, isn't it?

IF.....

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

IF you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!'

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
' Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch,
if neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

thanks Lighthouse, always does it for me, that one

That's fair enough I was just disputing what the original poster said that Micky has not been backed by DK. I am with you 100% that he made a big cock up in the spring/summer. Time will tell if it works out (or her rectifies his mistake) but the question is if he goes then what? I think it's safe to say he's not the main money behind the club but how involved is he with the Falmer project? Who would replace him as chairman? And if the board agreed with him over Wilkins as he claims what makes any of them any better?
