If it had to be one what would it be?
I feel every manager has it hard running the Albion simply because the lack of investment put towards the starting 11.
Coppell would've stay IF we had signed Sidwell, McGhee would of avoided relegation IF we had built on a half-decent squad, Wilkins could of had us in the play-offs IF Dick hadn't of sold the core of the team halfway through a season and maybe Mickey could be doing better IF Dick could get in the players the club have been screaming out for for the last 2 years.

For me its Dick to blame.

IF.....

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

IF you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!'

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
' Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch,
if neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail
Fair enough, you blame Dick. But the reasons you state are lack of investment? Why is that? Anything to do with the current board not being bottomless pits and a lack of external investment due to the Albion being an investors nightmare?

Who would you replace Dick with?

Aside from that, we have a fairly good squad with some players who have goood experience in the league above. We are underperforming. That is not Dicks fault.

Someone who would be willing to take the club over, if Dick put the club up for sale I'm sure there would be at least one potential buyer but we all know Dicks dream and unfotuantley for us that dream is being funded by over-charged Albion fans.

f*** Dick Knights dream of opening Falmer, what about the dream of the club?

Answer me this how much would it have cost to keep DW IN charge.

I would love to answer that but Albions lack of communication between the fans and the board means its an impossible answer.

The dream of opening Falmer is the same dream of securing our future.

El correcto but wasn't 'our' dream also to have a stadium which we could fill?

Why?

He has invested in the squad this year and on paper at least we have a stronger squad than for a long time. I'm sure our wage bill is higher than for a long time.
We spent £300,000 on Murray in Jan. It is up to the manager to get the best out of these players - something that at present he is not doing.

Why is there an anti-Knight feeling because we are doing badly on the pitch? I get the impression a lot of people want us to fail simply so they can have a go at Knight for sacking Wilkins (something which I believe was a unanimous board decision)

1, sold 500k worth of players and spent 350k:rolleyes:

2,mr knight gets far to involved on pitch decisions

3,debts nearly 11 million,is that a well run club?if falmer wasn't due the club would fold with these debts.

the only bright spot is falmer but that has taken how long?although this isn't knights faultis.:rolleyes:
