I really do object to that. I am entitled to my view just as you are to yours.

The difference between us is that my glass is half full rather than half empty and, more importantly I believe in the principle that someone is innocent until proven guilty.

Therefore, until and unless someone can prove to me with hard facts that Dick Knight is ruining this club, I will still consider him to be a good chairman and someone who played a huge part in saving the club from the gutter.

I don't believe he is perfect anymore than I believe anyone is perfect in running their business or in their job, and I am open to evidence that he is as unbelievably bad for the club as you think he is.

If I saw evidence to convince me of that I might hate him as much as you do. Until then I'll consider him to be a good chairman with the interests of the club at heart, albeit with very limited funds.

That doesn't make me an arse licker.

I do like Dick, I do believe he has done an often thankless job and, as mentioned is a very good front man for the board.
Unfortunately, he blotted his copy book by saying that " Mickey had got the boys up for tonights game" I wonder how he could do that given is inability to motivate the team to beat 10 players over 75 minutes or 9 players over 60 ?

" O.k. boys, we are up against some big time charlies who have just won the rollover Euro Millions X 10 to the power of 7. In order to hang on to this gravy train those boys tonight are going to have to run their arses off and never ease off or they are off that gravy train in January." But you should make it clear when you make such statements because I took it that you meant anyone who does not criticise DK.

Also, if someone is calling you a liar and you believe that to be unjustified, it still doesn't make them a DK arse licker, does it?
