Cannot be arsed to read all the threads, and whose fault it was tonight.

The blame lies WHOLLY at Dick Knights feet.

Not Micky Adams.......he was just Dick Knights chosen messiah.

Not Dean Wilkins..........he was Dick Knights chosen lamb for the slaughter.

Not the supporters..........we,ve been shat upon.

Not the players.............we got what Dick Knight wanted.

I'm sorry but the blame must partially go to Adams.

Even though I disagreed with Wilkins' sacking, it is logical to think that Adams (who presided over 2 successive promotions) would NOT get us relegated a couple of seasons later, coming into a stable and potentially quality club.

I was not happy to see Wilkins go but I was cautiously optimistic about seeing Adams back.

Adams has made bizarre decision after bizarre decision this year, we could not forsee the ridiculous amount of bad man-management that would take place this year.

I partially blame Knight but I more strongly blame Adams.

the tragedy of this situation is two fold:

1. A person who led a consortium to get us back to Brighton and has delivered us a stadium in waiting has proved this season to be human and is now starting to be questioned as a leader and some say he should take the oppertunity to retire gracefully.

2. A manager who was in the eyes of many the best one we have had returns to the club and proves that he was not the manager we thought he was. People then really turned on him and now his legacy is tarnished.

That is the real issue.

I have a feeling that come then new season, we could see a new board as well as a new team

sorry granny, that is crap

Dick and the board have created this situation by sacking Wilkins and forcing Chapman out. That is the real issue.

Even though a section of us have been saying this for months there are a section of groupies who are just letting their hearts rule there heads just as Dick did back in may.

Just maybe the fencers will begin to see where these problems stemmed from.

It was obvious to many that Micky Adams had long ago lost the impetus to be a good manager.............long before Dick Knight wanted his matey back again.

It was obvious to almost everyone, back in December that Micky Adams was a nightmare.

But what did Dick Knight do...? Give him more money to waste in the January transfer window.................and then sacked him two games after.........then took another two weeks chasing another pointless dream..... (gannon)...............then made it public that he was his No 1 choice........then f***ed about some more chasing another pointless dream (Ince).........then signed 5 players on loan on the recommendation of his failed coach.......then threw all 5 into a 6 pointer relegation battle for their debuts............f***ing hell........the list of catastrophic decisions is endless.

I,m sorry........but the buck stops with the bloke running the club at the moment.........DICK KNIGHT.

Come on granny, argue for feck sake!

My point it, if they hadnt kicked out Wilkins, Mickey wouldnt have even been here in the first place.

Talk about turning a promising league position of 7th into a relegation side in one swoop, and kicking two decent managers in the nuts in the process.

Dick has done wonders for this club, but like a kid who doesn't know when to leave home, Dick's time has come, out, and OUT NOW.

100% agree. DK has lost it big time and the running of the club is all over the place.

You wouldn't let a 70+ year old fly an airliner or drive a train, there's a reason the retirement age is 65 and the way the club's being run shows why.
