I'd agree that timing has been far from perfect with SO many important games at the moment but, again, you can't blame it all on Knight.

He did what it seems most Albion fans wanted and got rid of Adams. Things then went tits-up with Gannon turning the job down, but I'm sure Knight will have other names in mind. The problem is you can't start interviewing people for the job while the current man's still in charge, so we were always going to have Booker and White in charge for a time whatever the situation.

DK should get on the phone to Coppell and ask him for a recommendation for manager and whoever SC suggests we should then move heaven & earth to bring in.

He won't do that he thought it would be in Steve's best interest he left

If Knight had already got someone in place, or had started negotiating, while Adams was still boss, he would have been accused of undermining a Brighton boss.

Surely this is what Dick Knight did when he bought Adams in!!

Knight stood in the middle of the pitch on the Saturday praising Wilkins the bought in Adams.

So who can believe anything Dick Knight says anymore - hes turned from saviour to devil -

Knight has achieved a lot over the past couple of seasons - causing mayhem in the dressing room, dismay on the pitch and the fans bitching against each other.

Divide is all he seems to be achieving now - oh sorry for the Dick Knight fans that are still out there - one word FALMER

But in what division

sadly the whole thing is a huge mess up - I was happy with Adams coming back, but sacking WIlkins is looking like a bidg mistake, sacking Adams with no plan for a new manager a bigger one.

But it seems there WAS a plan - Gannon. Unfortunately (for Knight, at least) that hasn't worked out. That was always a risk because you can't speak to potential replacements until you've removed the current manager. As stated before, these things happen.

You can't blame Knight for Gannon's decision. I'm sure he will have offered him far more money than he's on at Stockport but, fair play to Gannon, he turned the job down for honourable reasons.

The mistake was allowing Adams to linger in the job when it was obvious we were in freefall. In 44 years of support, I've never seen so many basic mistakes in six months. The manager should have been sacked on boxing day and by now we would, hopefully, be recovering under a new management team. Unfortunately, time is now running out and its going to be extremely difficult to survive.
