I'm sure I'm not the only person who thinks Dick Knight is a true hero. I am heartedly sick of the idiots who come on here and complain about him. Nobody has ever done more for this club or probably any other.

In an era when despot chairmen and ego maniacs control so many clubs how lucky are we to have a chairman who is first and foremost a dedicated fan ?

Yesterday once again he demostrated how great he is. Thanks Dick, you're the business.

We were all told it was a "march of two halfs" but as far as I saw, he was the only BHAFC person who marched back again, all the players etc disappeared

I agree when we were marching yesterday, he was at one point standing by the railing making / taking a phone call. i have no idea who was on the phone, it might have been his mum or it might have been JP saying why didn't you tell me you were bringing 8000. That isn't the point. The point is he still had time to wave at us and pose for a picture.

I have always found him to be polite, and always willing to do what he can be it spare a few minutes to chat or pose for a photo. He might not be the worlds best chairman, but he is up there amongst them.

Dick Knight for a knightship.

Arise Sir Dick

I reckon about 1 in 100 complain about him.

For a football chairman, that's a VERY good ratio.
Snippet from a recent conversation with DK:-

At the Wrexham game last season, I was talking to Gutterman and he said 'Dick, I expect you get the same grief from your fans as I get from ours'.

Errr... no.

It reflects on the way that DK runs the club that he is a fan and has the best interests of the club at heart, rather than running the club like a business/just another job/or to make money out of it like other chairman.

People who give DK stick are very naive, I can't think of anyone who I'd rather have at the helm than DK.

I really can't understand the people who give him a hard time, unless it's because they automatically have a pop because we're not in the Champion's League.

I've never heard him say anything that could be construed as being not in line with what the fans want, and noone can say he's too big for his boots a la Rupert Lowe.

He's a steady hand when that is EXACTLY what we want.

I have no complaints whatsoever.
