Put it this way I don't think Dick Tight would make a living as a stand up comedian and his arrogance as usual shone through. 'Mr Chairman' my f***ing arse :angry::angry:

Arrogant our Dick surely not.
I suppose it was the i like to have a joke and talk about football just like all you supporters routine-Did he Talk about The way he led the Albion in to a relegation battle and why he may stand a side as he loves the Albion so much he doesn't want to hinder our progress to get back into the Championship in 2011 ready for Falmer?

Don't you understand sarcasm ? The day I think that tosser saved the club is the day I will walk naked across Withdean with a picture of Neil Warnock sellotaped to my chest

Here we go again, been here before with CKR and goals scored - dangerous territory dear chap

What makes me sick about Knight is he says that Micky will always be a legend for what he did the first time (which is fair enough) but Dean Wilkins who was with the club for over 20 years he couldn't even acknowledge with decency - he says that he wouldn't sack Russell if we got relegated (which i don't blame Russell if we get relegated it not his fault) but he would have sacked Dean even if he had got us promoted - the man has lost the plot - run a football club - he couldn't run a bath!!

Listening to the phone in - Why is everything so funny with the mess we are in -

the man is a joke - i don't find it funny we are where we are in the league and that i have paid £900.00 for 2 season tickets and watched shit football and a mess caused by him last May - Dean Ian and Micky have all now gone from this club - probably better off away from it

He's never going to admit that they made poor judgements.

Dick you should be under no illusion the majority of fans think that you are responsible for our plight this season.

I hope we will be sucessfull next season and we move into Falmer with the club moving forward again on the football pitch so that we can rule a line under the current balls up.

On the Falmer side of things I think that they are doing a good job and should be commended.

The way I see it there are a number of glaringly obvious problems with the running of the club at the moment and this interview proves it.

We are in this position because the 'status quo' at the football club either refuses to change or can't. Its all very well having a 'hands on' and approachable chairman and a 'cuddly' football club that gets involved in the community etc.., but that can't cover over the cracks i.e the footballing side has been shockingly run and the fans have been let down badly.

Dicks a hero in my mind but I've always disliked the way he manages to make bad situations sound good. I suppose thats why he was succesful in business but I always feel that I'm being blinded slightly from the truth.

I was really annoyed when he alluded that the only reason we finished 7th was because he backed Wilkins in the transfer market by getting Westlake and Raccon, bullshit if the team had'nt been destroyed before then (Savage etc..) then we might well of gone up.

Why won't he tell us why Wiikins was sacked? My own feelings are that Dean was'nt a 'yes' man and did'nt toe the line. Yes he could be a miserable git at times but thats got obsolutely nothing to do with the footballing side of things.

At the end of last season he spoke to me and my dad after the game and said "Sorry we could'nt do it for you but I just did'nt have enough quality to make it happen" make of that what you will but it does'nt exactly tie in with Knights boasting of backing him all the way.

What an excellent intelligent interview! Well done to Alan for posing the questions like an old pro & to DK for an hour's worth of open & informative replies. Good to hear Dick sounding as positive and enthusiastic as ever. Great stuff & well worthy of a wider audience (make podcast link available to official site maybe?).

Unlikely. We want to retain our independence.

Cheers for those other comments.

Not heard it but i guess it was very geared up to making Dick sound like a loveable chap that you would trust with your life savings.

Or am i being unfair on him?

I wouldn't trust him to sit the right way round on a lavatory.

Liar, Liar, Pants of Fire is what we should be singing for the whole 90 minutes at Withdean every weak. I knows the truth and that will learn him well to not sack such a great manager who took us a record breaking SEVENTH in the third division in his second season in charge.
