I think the only relevance of this story is to vindicate Sir Keir Starmer's sound judgement to remove the whip away from her in April 2023 in the wake of ill-conceived and badly-worded comments about Jews not suffering racism.

She should not be let loose anywhere near a Twitter account.

Whilst I disagree regarding anyone 'getting their knickers in a twist', I am interested to know what you would do regarding the tragic and regular mortalities in The Med.

Monitoring more closely the departure of small boats from North Africa? Seem obvious to me that the best system would be to get clearance for lawful migration before leaving, then once approved, travel safely and much more cheaply to the accepting country.

Exactly like we did before the Government changed the law in Sept 2011, when small boat channel crossings were so negligible they weren't even counted ?
