One day, a club for glory hunters.

In the future, kids in Manchester and Liverpool, with no connection to Brighton, will be wearing Albion tops because "everyone else at school supports them" and they want to fit in.

(This might be a very long time in the future)

A club for those who live in hope, something that we still have.

I view following a football club as being a bit like a relationship, this is the club I grew up with and one I have great affection for, however things are a bit rocky at the moment and I am going through a trial separation...not sure what the future holds!

The girl next door club, I dated her, gave her up briefly for one with bigger tits, a trick pelvis and a nurse's uniform, but realised quickly that she was the one I truly loved and returned to her.

She is the girl I have loved passionately since 1958.

Occasionally she has been very beautiful.

Most of the time she has been a right moose, but my love for her has never wavered.

I'm stuck with it but I'm not complaining.

It's a Family Club.

It's something that cheers you up, lets you down, messes you around, costs you a fortune, takes up your spare time, takes up all of your thinking time, something to have an argument with or about, something you're prepared to fight for, something to care about, something I had no choice in being part of, something that's always there come rain or shine, a place to go to have something to eat or drink with people you like or despair of, and something to open and proudly profess your love for.

Just like a family.
