Well, yeah. Obviously not for our ropey bunch of no hopers :lol:

The positives:

1. We have plenty of time to get the runs
2. We've avoided the dodgy 1st hour of the day
3. It's all or nothing. We need a Stokes like innings from someone.

150 overs to get 344. Not impossible for a good side..........oh

Palladino is injured .
For what was an already weakened Derbyshire side Ffs.
I’m the first to say our batting is pretty shit but surely this will at least be close.

We will be 40/3 an hour after lunch, then hopefully this thread will die a slow death - much like this utterly shit Sussex season.

Knowing how Sussex like to **** with our heads, I expect them to dangle hope in front of us for much longer, THEN they can collapse.

You mean "make a fist of it"? Sorry, not happening. We're turd. Or more accurately, inconsistent and really can't bat.

Gloucester already have their feet up, Durham rolling over for Northants, even a win here leaves us with a lot to do.

Inconsistent allows us to bat properly from time to time. Let's see if it's today.

But Gloucestershire are playing Northants in their final game so one of them is going to drop points. As Gloucs are further ahead than Northants we'll clearly want them to win.

Why am I saying this? Our season will be mathematically over in a few hours. :(
