I'm worried about the defence, I must say.

Totally agree with those mentioning the lack of pace - maybe Skalak has bulked up a bit over the summer but I'd have preferred Murphy's pace down the left, and probably Baldock's up front.

Still, let's hope. It's a new season and we have two goal scorers up top so you never know.

WA misleading about Dale Stephens. He wants to play in the Premier League and in a successful side. Not signing an extended contract gives him more options.

In January we could be challenging and Burnley could be floundering. Jumping ship to Burnley on a long contract gives him less options than staying with the Albion. The danger would be if a higher echelon PL club made a bid.

All players are ostensibly just on loan, some longer than others.

Disappointed we are stuck with the same old crap standard of 'commentary' on BBC Sussex. I am sure Johnny Cantor is lovely bloke and all that, and his reporting / opinion pieces are just fine, but he really is a poor radio commentator. He makes observations on what he can see, and doesn't describe the action in enough detail for the listener to have a picture of what is going on most of the time.

I suspect Derby are saying the same about their side.

I would like to have a genuine speed merchant in the side. Not sure who is the quickest we've got in first team contention? Not Baldock.
Ideally not a winger, or if a winger, one that can run off the shoulder of the last defender.

Derby are strong in midfield. But something I have not decided is if they are quicker than us in midfield. Slower, if anything.
