Certainly is. They're running rings round Wigan...

and they're smiling as they do it.

Their starting line-up or the team that was on the field at 2118 had an average age of 18.7 years.

"2118: By the way, I don't care if some of you want to accuse me of over-doing it with Arsenal. For an outfield team averaging 18.7 years, this is quite remarkable. They play just like the first team, there is a staggering amount of ability. You will be hearing a lot of these boys in the years to come."

They must have a very good scouting network. Now why isn't our 'link' with Arsenal working very well!?

We'll be lucky if we get Pat Rice!

Fecking hell. About time Wigan started playing. Great saves by Fabianski.

For the exact reason you have just pointed out......ARSENAL ARE USING THEM!

That WAS my point. Wenger doesn't seem to trust other clubs with his genuine talents and ships out the players that are deemed surplus to requirement. Do Arsenal genuinely have a footballing guru tucked away in their scouting network or do they just throw enough mud (and money) about?

Ah apologies thought you were suggesting we should be getting all these lads on loan because of the Brady link.

Arsenal very clearly have a fantastic worldwide scouting network but they are obviously very ruthless when it comes to acquiring these lads and they can also afford to be. They paid Notts County £2m in compensation for that lad a few years back.

Man Utd have just taken the lead from the penalty spot against QPR, this is the description of the goal from Sporting Life:

Foul by Peter Ramage (QPR) on Danny Welbeck (Man Utd). Placed penalty taken right-footed by Carlos Tevez (Man Utd) (bottom-right of goal), scored.Man Utd 1-0 QPR. Assist by Danny Welbeck (Man Utd) from centre of penalty area.

How can you assist with a penalty?

No need to apologise. I should have added a :jester: I have not and probably will not see someone don the stripes that is on a par with these guys at that age. It almost feels like people trafficking, but a sight to behold. An Arsenal fan must feel like they have won the lottery after all those boring years under George Graham.

Another of Arsenals/Wengers skills is to sell his stars when they are at the crossroads of peak/decline.

Why was I not born in Highbury?
