I think a pen was the right decision

Normally would want a Brum. win, but as I can't stand foreign owners with no knowledge of football buying up a club and bringing in a 'name' to manage the team, with no justification for sacking a perfectly good British manager, I'm really hoping they crash and burn (like Blackburn did when they got taken over by that bunch of chickwits), so come on Derby!

Sentiment has no part to play. We are aiming for the Prem not feeling sorry for others.

I agree, but surely our own prospects come first? Derby and Shefwedlol are our biggest threat (with Newcsatle)

Not being sentimental, or sorry for anyone (although perhaps a bit sorry for Rowett, but not much - he'll get another job soon enough). I'm not much concerned about the outcome of a match between two clubs fifteen points behind us - so I'll stick with wanting Birmingham to lose, thanks.

Don't think the outcome of a match between two clubs way behind us at the mid-point of the season is anything to worry about. One or other of them may go on a fantastic run - or may not.

Of course it is. Derby are of a fantastic run.

Stick to wanting our rivals to lose would be better. Derby are a bigger threat than Brum. Brum will be in free fall now Zola is in charge.

It will come to an end eventually. And it's not as good as our's. Of course, anyone (almost) could ultimately be a threat, but it's no use worrying about them now. All we need to concern ourselves with is carrying on as we are.

If we're being picky - and this is NSC, so of course we are - they have won eight and drawn one of their past nine, we have won seven and drawn two over the same period.

You've made that old mistake of thinking we're the players. We fans don't need to concern ourselves with carrying on, the players can do that. They're not looking at the table, I am. I know that it helps us if the main threats drop points, so I wanted Birmingham to win.

And of course it's no use worrying now - but then it'll be no use worrying at the end of the season either, me worrying doesn't affect results. But I'm still going to do it.

Dodgy penalty in a narrow home win today. Am confident they will drop points soon.

I doubt though that they have won 13 and drawn 4 of their last 17 league matches
