Maybe I'm under rating him but can't see him making the bench let alone getting any game time there. Would have been underwhelmed if he'd come here. Strange signing but at least it's wasted a bit of their kitty.

Personally I'm gutted we didn't sign him. He's technically a very good player that caused us plenty of problems up there this season. He can clearly score goals and also has the capability to create chances himself. I think at £2.5 million he would have been the perfect striker at a value within our budget to add to our team. Let's hope we have another gem lined up instead to strengthen our front line

This is the best signing of the Jan transfer window so far by any of our close rivals, a very good buy for the fee. We just need a top class striker now to go with the brilliant Knockaert signing.

I'd rather have Knockert than Blackman

Completely agree. One was consistently good for Leicester (see comments from some of their fans) and the other has had half a good season at Reading. £2.5 million (if that's the real amount he cost) is a lot of money for a player who would be out of contract at the end of the season. I can't see him starting regularly at Derby as they play a front three and Martin, Weimann and Ince is pretty strong.
