In a pile of football shirts
The highlight of next season could easily be the Albion playing Brentford in the League Cup and the media getting excited about the prospect of our boys playing the giantkiller role.

Or Rotherham

Plenty of criticism of refs decisions today from the commentary team.

Can the club be sustainable in League 1 ?

what are the alternatives? Sell the ground and build a housing estate/ shopping centre/ hotel?

Rattling around in circa 10k crowds will be quite depressing

Yes, Brighton will still have big crowds and much bigger than everyone else in that league and the playing budget will be much much smaller. Probably cheaper to run the club in the third tier. This will take us back to the 1960's, the Albion were a big fish in the lower leagues then as well. Nothing changes at Brighton, the team never matches the support.

What a stupid question
Cause we can as our wage bill will go from 23 million to 10 million and many big clubs have been in league 1 as im sure you're aware of mmmm.

And new season means a raft of price hikes from Barber.
