£174k for my street, but then I am Oop North.

Given that the extension has just cost me £170k, it looks like money not well spent.

you spent 170k on an extension? What the hell have you put in it? A swimming pool and sauna complex?

Quarter of a million for a two bedroom terraced house with no front garden and a tiny back garden.

Oh, and it's made of bungareesh or however you spell it.

Just as well I bought it when I did then eh?

Just got mine valued by a couple of estate agents in Hanover and it came out between 275,000-290,000!!

Shit parking, messy streets, but some good pubs. Yeah seems worth it!!

Hanover is one of the most popular areas of B&H though, namely because it's as close to town as you can get without needing to pay for parking. Granted, you'll have to fight for the spaces, but it's still better than paying.

And the pubs only make it MORE desirable

According to that site the average for my road is £440k. A little misleading methinks there are several different types of property in the road. The house opposite recently went for £725k but there are a few semis further down that I would guess are nearer £300k. Mine was recently valued at £550k, which I'm quite pleased with really.

I ignored our house which is listed on there. £735k was the last house sold here before ours in August 2000. Nice place.

735K!

You could buy half of Leeds for that.

Our street is a bit hard to average I would have though - same as Tricky Dickys above - we've got granny flats at the bottom, 6 or 7 bedroom victorian terraces and our semi detached type. Nice to see what the houses around our size have sold for though - looks good compared to what we paid - which is listed on there!!
