Denny Lane probably most well known for his work with Paul McCartney he certainly has earned his wings rest in peace

Now that is sad one of Roy Wood's old mates (who isn't). Incredibly talented musician who never got his rightful credit for Wings. RIP

Ooh, never knew he wrote that. Love the CB version, but this sounds a bit more Beatles.
He re-recorded it another time as well, which I’ve got in my collection, and is an even better version IMO, but annoyingly I can’t find on you tube!

Blimey the amount of musicians going this year.

Never a fan of Wings but loved the Album cover of Band on the Run, if only to see how many people I knew...

It’s Laine.
…. and probably best known for Go Now - how prophetic!
Did an album after McCartney bought Buddy Holly’s catalog- Holly Days. It was ok but not a classic.
I was a big Wings fan but I think he got unfairly stitched up by McCartney despite his loyalty to the band.
RIP A life lived.
