Just had it confirmed , he does post reliable info on NSC.

But I was talking about the person who I am guessing planted the media stories that Wise was lined up for the job (who I would be astonished if I discovered was an NSC regular).

I think you are talking about someone else - who keeps his ear open for stories circulating at the Club.

Naylor now posts on BrightonFans under the same pseudonym.

He was/is a frequent visitor to Eastbourne as his parents-in-law live/lived in Old Town. Maybe his wife would quite like him to take the Brighton job on that basis alone ...

What his wife might like doesn't come into it (we've had quite enough lately of what Murray's wife would like!) - we still don't want the little t**d near this football club; Eastbourne's a bit too close IMHO....................

Worthing
This seems like a cautionary tale for anyone wanting rid of RS. 'Don't shout too loudly or you might get someone you really don't want'.

Yeah, they are pally. Its all to do (surprise, surprise) with gambling. Bloom is a mate with Mike Ashley through a casino in London. Ashley is (obviously) a mate with Wise. Bloom wanted Wise before Salde. Out voted.
I wonder what the reaction to Wise would be?

Trouble is,Bloom is on a wave. The saviour. He could end up more hated than Archer

Theres no way Bloom could ever be more hated than Archer....he's personally financing our new stadium for a start!!!! I suppose if he goes on to sell it in a few years time and leave us homeless he might be not that popular.
Im not a big fan of Wise and i cant see Slade going anywhere unless were still struggling in another 3 or 4 months but im sure people would change their views about him if he came here and got us promoted!! One thing with the Albion is you can never right someone off or assume someone is gonna do well or bad.......what ever happens happens, no one player/manager is bigger than the club......i really like Slade but if ha cant get it right later in season and were in a relelgation scrap time to move on......the same way as i hate wise but if he came here and did a good job all well and good. If were doing really well and playing good football i dont care if Osama Bin Laden is the manager!!!!! :albion2:

Not a fan of Wise and his methods but,as has been said already, it would be interesting to watch us playing with a bit of the siege mentality that he inspires in his teams.

I would be very dissapointed if Salde got the gooner this early though, only a few months ago he was being carried shoulder high as the new Messiah after saving us from the drop so has shown he is capable of turning teams around and is at his best when his back is against the wall...come on Russ have a f***ing go fella!.

If he can't maintain the momentum from the back of last season and get the new players gelling, and we will probably know whether he can or not after the next 2 or three games, then he should go. I dont think we can afford another Micky Adams "He will come good, just give him time" scenario. I certainly am not prepared to do that again..Brighton are not Man Utd. and Slade is not Alex Ferguson thats for sure..We cant afford to let ourselves get into trouble again.
