to be either sent out on loan again or sold I presume.

I was under the impression it was Deniz who wanted/pushed to go back to Germany, and not us, for family or personal reasons.
As was I.

I am choosing to interpret from RDZ’s words that there has been a change in circumstances, and that he’ll be playing for us.

It makes me feel happier to think of it in this way.

Equally I heard we were originally going with a permanent transfer but Deniz asked for it to be just a loan so he could come back if he wanted to.

Scoring again this afternoon as can be seen on the Loanee Tracker thread.

And now, an assist!

Unless they are trying to barter the price down. Good luck with that?!
Yep, my first thoughts as well. No chance if we want him back. Not sure him threatening to down tools will affect it either. I think TB might have had enough of that behaviour

I would think the discussions are about the price, maybe knocking it down, or agreeing a payment structure. If we were to let him go Tony should stay firm on the highest possible fee outlined in the loan agreement, no discounts, and it should all be paid upfront. At least that way if they don’t pay it Undav could think well they can’t have wanted me that much then! We certainly shouldn’t be doing a Champions league club any favours.
