The absolute nonsense that the majority of Leeds fan spout is undermined by one uncomfortable truth for them - and that truth is called Robert Sanchez. He’s a player who has followed an incredibly similar loan trajectory to BW, planned out by the Albion in meticulous detail. In fact, RS’s development has moved even faster than BW’s. I don’t think a single one of us would have predicted last summer that he’d been in the Spain squad for the Euros.

Unless he’s been secretly taking undercover lessons from the great Bielsa that we don’t know about, Leeds can absolutely piss off with their tiresome narrative that doesn’t stand up to even the most basic level of scrutiny.

It's really not worth getting annoyed about. They think the entire world revolves around Yorkshire and Leeds is the centre of the universe. It's no surprise to me that they feel Ben White is of their own making. If they hadn't heard of him before his loan spell with them, then they're probably convinced nobody had.

Exactly that. Of course White improved at Leeds as he did Newport etc etc. As he has with us this season. Some are missing the point with their sheer arrogance. And yes, we’d all heard of him and most seen him play live a few times before he went to Leeds. And yes, being the best player in the Championship will get noted by the England manager ffs Again, they should be grateful we agreed to loan him to them and very much help them get promoted!
