Behind all the bollocks this whole thing is simply Leeds fans just cannot and will not accept that a club like little Brighton can say no to the MIGHTY LEEDS

Our rejection is just the first of many little doses of reality they will be served up this season

Sounds like the Albion are guilty of modern slavery now :lolol:

The lengths and bizarre reasoning these Leeds fans will go to in order to somehow rationalise the depth of their disappointment is truly hilarious. I have started to see a few of them tweeting accepting defeat and saying fair play to us but it's still a minority. Painting themselves as some kind of saviour for disaffected and exiled footballers is right up there in the delusion stakes! Poor poor Ben they wail, the lad earns several times more a week than any of us do and will still be doing so for the next few years yet Leeds suggest he's some kind of bedraggled and shackled street urchin being forced to pickpocket against his will. Fecking grow up you absolute bellends.

And.theres no such word as unaestetical whatever he's trying to say he's failed.

The delusions of grandeur is their Achilles heel

They believe that now they finally got back to the PL it's just a case of "honey I'm home"..... And we'll take that player from this club, and that player from another club and slot back into the champions League challengers.

Maybe being Leeds in L1 or the championship worked well when recruiting from the free agent lists, and broadcasting every move publicly, but now it looks like total amateur hour.

They simply don't grasp the reality that they're no more or less special or appealing in 2020 than West Brom or Fulham. Just another newly promoted championship club and no more, except in their own minds.

Reality is starting to bite hard and they cant understand why.

You mean you didn’t swear, you were polite, respectful, had a cohesive point of view that was well articulated and acknowledged other fans’ opinions?

Oh, shame on you. punish:

I did, but I also pointed out things like how much fun it's been for fans of the other 91 clubs to see Leeds fans in a glory hole since 2004.

I wonder how many of the people drawing similarities to slavery scoffed at the idea when Sepp Blatter said modern day footballers were like slaves (here) or when Ronaldo claimed he was a slave (here). I remember these claims both being shot down by most fans, quite emphatically.

And.theres no such word as unaestetical whatever he's trying to say he's failed.

Unaesthetic.

Unaesthetic.

I think he meant unethical because unaesthetical makes no sense in that context, he's tried to be clever and ended up looking a clown

Or he’s “not for sale”... again, why is this so difficult to grasp?

Putting to one side the confusion of unaesthetic and unaesthetical (I know there is another example of a word where people needlessly an an -al to the end of it where it shouldn't be, but I'm struggling to remember it. I'm sure it's one of those things that makes the thread every time there are complaints about grammar errors, americanism, "can I get?" etc), all that's missing in their post is the h. If they meant unethical there are a larger number of errors, and in fairness to the poster, there aren't a lot of typos in there, suggesting that making so many mistakes in one word and so few through the rest of the post seems unlikely.

'There is something ugly about this' isn't all that uncommon a phrase, and that is what the sentence means (or would if I'm correct about the error). Either way, yes, trying to look smart and instead looking like a clown. Or a killer whale.

I’m guessing that this particular bellend has English as a second language. If he doesn’t
...perhaps Killer Whale can have a word with his form tutor.

These Leeds muppets wouldn't have been promoted without Ben White.

Getting bored of this Bielsa made him. F*cking disrespectful for a lad who has spent his whole life working to be a professional footballer.

They are very lucky we didn't take him back in January. It was a consideration at the time.

I'll keep reminding them of this video:

"Deluded" is not a big enough word.

EDIT: can someone please tell me how to upload a profile pic? i've tried doing it via settings > edit profile pic, but it never uploads despite being under 97kb
