If 99% of respondents couldn't care less about Marcelo, why have so many expressed the hope that he doesn't sign his contract?

Be honest, you are hoping he won't too!

You're right most hope he doesn't sign, not because it weakens you, there's plenty of better suited managers to keep you up than Dusty Bin. It's for comedy theatre that is twitter, to see you fan base implode in dismay that Dusty is a fly by night.

Your whole PL future is built on sand with ,matchsticks as the structure.

If Bielsa is such a genius, why did they have an identical record last season as we had in our promotion season ?

And, to prove how much weaker the Championship was last season, they won by 10 points, we came second with with exactly the same points.

Albion season 2016/17. pl 46. W 28. D9. L 9

Manchester United’s feeder club, season 2019/20 PL 46. W28. D9. L 9.

He is the worlds best manager he made Poch and Pep idolises him. He took the small town of Leeds into the premier league in his second season in charge a feat only matched by

Warnock
Hughton
Jokanovic
Parker
Farke
Billic
Moore
Wilder
Pearson
Smith

He plays a unique brand of football that nobody will be able to match in the premier league. In fact the only teams who have managed to find a way to beat Bielsas well drilled superstars are the football powerhouses of Cardiff, Wigan, QPR, MASSIVE Wednesday, Millwall, Charlton, Swansea and Forest.

They have won the league in a way that any other promoted team can dream of and are unlike any other team ever to be promoted. Even without their player of the season we will see them comfortably top half of the league as Bielsa turns L1 cast offs into PL superstars.

No folks this is not just any other Championship promoted side with a decent manager this is LEEDS BLOODY UNITED

......think that just about covers it

I have seen Leeds play live against a Potter managed Swansea since you mention it.

They were a very good side under him (and attractive to watch) but not at our level. We beat them 2-1 at Elland Road but the better game was at the Liberty where we drew 2 -2. A cracking match with a draw probably a fair result although I thought we shaded it by the end. It was nip and tuck, fantastic for a neutral I imagine. Marcelo made a very brave and effective decision to substitute Phillips, I remember, halfway through the first half. Swansea were targeting him very efficiently, and he was getting frustrated, and had been booked. It was brilliant, and turned the game back in our favour, it had looked to be getting away from us.

I can remember Kalvin walking off the field looking utterly shell shocked and crushed. But he didn't sulk in future games, it seemed to just make him even more determined to please Marcelo subsequently.

Just looked that game up have we? This far into the thread, you remember watching Mighty play a Potter side.

Don't you think it is a little ironic to be bemoaning the unjust hype over Bielsa's Leeds promotion in a thread that is 248 pages and counting?

Aren't you guys participating in it? Or did you have similar threads for all those other clubs whose managers you mentioned?

I would think the majority of 99% would like him to walk, for amusement value alone.

I hope he goes.

It'll be incredibly funny watching the meltdown, and then being astounded that the deluded bubble still doesn't burst.

This is box office stuff. I've not seen anything like this crowd psychosis before.

I was refuting a poster who was making the (ill informed) argument that Bielsa had never been offered a manager's job at a "big" club by stating that he had turned down Boca.

To say that you loaned a player to Boca once is therefore not to be on that particular point, but to make a different one.

Sometimes your posts seem quite reasonable ....................................

Not ironic at all as this is a thread about deluded Leeds fans and this is exactly the sort of deluded bollocks you have all been spouting much to our enjoyment.

The fans of those other clubs and managers were pretty balanced about their PL chances and were not referring to their manager as one or the best managers is the world (he is not by the way) so very little discussion on here.

Remember this thread only exists because of the endless daily material your fan base provides us with.

I have the programme for the match at the Liberty to hand, as it goes.

Page 25 has an article by Julie Kissick entitled "Stilletos and Studs" The Assistant Referees were Timothy Wood and John Flynn. The Fourth Official was Stephen Martin.
Page 15 has an article on "10 years of the Community Trust."

Maybe the Swans fan if he keeps Programmes would like to check his to see if I am lying?

Except that would be sad wouldn't it?

So, not content with boring us about your manager, you are now boring us with readings from old leeds match programmes. It is worth noting that Swansman is not a Swansea fan. He is a Graeme Potter fan....yes, I know, it’s difficult to believe that a grown man would be in love with a football manager, isn’t it ? There it is though, modern football.

I don't know about other Leeds fans but I sometimes think I love Marcelo more than my wife...

(Only kidding darling if you ever come across this post! :D )

Once fans are back, imagine how much money LUFC will save on pies. They literally only have to buy one or two of each as Bielsa can feed 5,000 with each pie.
