But don't worry, all they need is goals and a goal scorer. Simples....

Notice how none of it was his own fault.

He's just stating the obvious - Leeds need goals, experience, and a bigger squad. Previously he blamed the players, lamenting individual player errors.
So having won one point out of a possible 12, he's now angling for a new, longer contract, and laying out his demands up front.

Leeds deserve him.

Leedsius semper excrementum (excuse grade 6 Latin “O” level, 1969).
Very good. Excrement that has been excreted through the rectum of the PL into the toilet of the Championship, flushed away forever, never to return.

Looks like Andrea Radrizzani as used Elland Road to secure a loan to buy Samdoria.

Not looking good if true.
‘The Athletic said 49er Enterprises weren't informed of the proposal to use Elland Road as collateral against the Sampdoria loan.’ Seems like the Sampdoria deal closed at all costs….

And those lovely people from “God’s own country” have not let the grass grow under their feet.

My initial reaction was that anything bad which happens to Leeds fans is great news and really funny.

But i'm a Brighton fan. And I have painful memories. Incredibly, if there's any threat to their ground and their future, i'll offer my solidarity to the charmless nerks

This may offer some protection.

My thoughts exactly. Laugh at Leeds for everything but this.

Surely this thread needs to be closed or at least mothballed until the next time our paths cross? They lasted a season longer than I expected so well done them, but I think we can move on from the comedy blowhards that inspired this thread back when one of our youth team players (what was his name again?) got them promoted and then they wanted to sign him.

They are back to their proper level of has been club bouncing between divs 2 and 3. Seems kind of cruel to keep mocking them. What next? Laughing at Bolton Wanderers?

"At this stage in my career I am not sure taking on this challenge, which is potentially a long-term project, is something I could commit to,

It’s going to be Potter, isn’t it. That will be joyous.
I think he’d be a good fit but after Bielsaball I’m not convinced they’d have the patience for Potterball. Suggestions of a history lesson when they start booing would be good value to see the Leeds fans reaction though.

Yes, you could be right. He could do a good job. However, the forced collective eating of words amongst the Leeds support would be wonderful to behold.

i notice that once again Leeds (according to Allardyce) "deserve" to be in the Premier League- I never understand this- not one single club outside of he Premier League "deserves" to be in it.

The only clubs deserving to be in it are the ones that have got there on merit.

Leicester, Leeds and Southampton deserve to be in the championship, as they simply werent good enough.

The sooner owners, players, and managers and more importantly FANS recognise that no club, however many trophies. titles etc they have in the past , deserve to be anywhere other than the positon they have earned to be the better.

Luton deserve to have their shot in the Prem as much as Leeds earned their chance. Leeds blew it-tough

Translation: "If you think I'm hanging around with this shower waiting for anything good to happen – when I could be sat at home drinking pints of gravy and chewing the fat with Sammy Lee – you are seriously deluded. I've had my payout and I'm facking off until the next mug of a chairman picks up the phone in need of Firefighter Big Sam. So long, suckers!"
