Do you think Leeds fans base their predictions on previous results, or do they use something else? Voices in their heads? Yorkshire tea leaves?

That list of 'winnable' games (not just Brighton), is right out there....

Trump's election fraud lawyer used a time traveler from the future as evidence of Democratic election stealing in a real court room so you never really know about some people.

To be fair to the fella, he's right on both counts, just not in the way he intended. Brighton aren't in the same ball park as Leeds, we are now the model for all aspiring clubs looking to establish themselves in the PL, they are dining out on past glories of 20 years ago. He's also right about the our players not being able to become England class, but thats more to do with the England managers prejudices than our abilities to get them to that level.

Brilliant thread bounce.

Let's not be shy of going on Leeds message boards and twitter and dredging up some of these comments today fellas, as they appoint big Sam in a desperate attempt to save their skins with 4 games left.

These are the tweets/fans that will make me enjoy their relegation. Absolutely classless deluded fan base.
To be fair, they did quite well in that first season, but it was all down to Bamford and Phillips having the season of their careers. Their recruitment since they've been in the Premier League has been shockingly poor and despite spending plenty they've somehow ended up with a weaker squad 2 years later.

Has anyone else spotted the mistake?

That season there wasn't a mistake. They finished 9th, us 16th. Although we did take six points off them.

However, after that....

Well yes but to be fair to me, I suspect if they'd signed White, they would have given him a contract that was longer that just that one season. And as it turns out, they've had two successive relegation fighting seasons since their one half decent season - and if they survive this time it will be the same again in 2024.
