Does anyone know what criteria are used to split teams that are level on points, goal difference and goals scored.

If we draw 1-1 and Carlisle win 1-0 then we'll be level on all of the above.
Same for 2-2 and 2-1.

Carlisle's goal difference is already better than ours. Therefore how it is possible for them to win and somehow end up with the same goal difference as us. Schoolboy error.

Head to head league results for that season between the two teams in question.

Carlisle are ahead on goal difference at the moment. -15 to our -16. If they win and we fail to win, then we are down (assuming Northampton are not still in the equation.
