Yes Hinsh's hoof out of the stadium was ill advised as it caused him to be out of position but the rest of the team were just as much to blame as they were switched off and not paying attention.

I think everyone thought all the balls had been collected up (I am sure the guy in charge of the ball boys went round and collected the spare balls up just before the goal, this has happened before when we are 1-0 up) and that the game might take a while to restart so they could admire Hinsh's ground clearing skills.

Yep, what he said.

When we are scrapping for every point if we take the lead we should obviously change to the "one ball" system, I too thought that the spare bells had been collected, so was happily watching the ball sail over the South stand in the belief that this was a good bit of "time wasting", only to see that the smaller of the two ball boys had a ball hidden under his top hat which he whipped out and lobbed to the Cobblers...wallop...boo!

we need to learn that the game is just as much down to how we operate at pitch side as in the middle.

We pushed up, Hinshelwood sent the ball ino the nature reserve and their players picked up a loose ball on the touchline, the kid did nothing wrong, our defence ws exposed, still if our players want to blame a 6 year old ball boy that sums them up this season, I can see Wilkins headline tomorrow

" Ball boy cost us the game "
