Watched this last night.

Fiennes's role makes him come across as slightly nerdy but loveable nonetheless. The players represented are quite good, Pickford mostly but Kane cops it quite cruelly.

The lovely Gina McKee is great as the psychology element, but the over complicating the definition of success is the weak point for me.

Slabhead gets called, well Slabhead, and I was left wondering how Dunky might have been portrayed.

Overall, pretty good fun.

First half good. Second half far too lefty and boring. Overall would not recommend.

Mrs Loz and 8 others saw this last night and we all really enjoyed it which surprised e as my Mrs hates football ( all sport ) with a passion.
