He should never have been sacked.

Good Luck to him, I wish he was still working for the Albion. Probably the only sacking we have done in my era of support the Albion that will never sit right with me.

Sorry none of these can match Wilkins with his 20+ years of devoution to our club and doing things for us in all manner of roles.

Like I said he was a GOD.

The only ones that beat him in my book of Albion gods are Charlie Webb and the Blooms.

Perhaps Dick struggled not being the no1 Mr Albion, biggest ever shock at the Albion next to poogate.

Chris Hughton for me. The manager who took us to The Premier league.

I can see merit in some of the others mentioned, Gritt & that day at Hereford, Mullery, Melia & the cup run and final, Gus and his successful drive through the divisions, Wilkins....working on a shoestring and using kids with years of loyalty to the club.........so many more successful periods to mention. Although I like and admire Dean Wilkins I would put a few above him.
