I can't understand what possible reason we would have for signing him on a permanent basis.

I, for one, am not expecting anymore than mid-table this season, at least it sounds as if Wilkins has actually got a plan which is more than McGhee ever had.

If we have to take one step back to take two steps forward so be it. I don't think we'll go down but I don't see us in The Championship for a good couple of seasons yet. Like Wilkins says, we have to be patient.
