Total disgrace tonight. If he thinks one good performance means he can play like that for the rest of the season then he can quite frankly do one.

Yeah, I'm sure he thought: "Oh well, I was quality against Yeovil at the weekend so I don't really give a shit about tonight". :nono:

Fair play to you for going up tonight, and yes you have every right to moan about tonights performance, but this thread is utter cack really, don't you think ?

He was horrible but the one who really gets to me is Jarrett. He doesn't care and it showed in every lazy, lacksadaisical pass he failed to complete. No more please. R

Indeed. It's like he thinks he is pele or something and is guaranteed a move to the premiership so doesn't have to try for us anymore.

There are plenty of examples of players lettng their game drop after a decent performance, shirley?

It can appear that way at times, I agree.

My point is though that I don't think Cox, or any other player for that matter, purposely turns up with a nonchalant attitude off the back of a good performance.

It was coxs fault for two of the goals. If cox could be arsed to move when Livermore was under pressure at left back, Livermore could have played a simple pass down the line and we wouldn't have conceeded the first two goals.

Because cox didn't move two yards, Livermore was closed down trying to clear the ball and we conceded two identical goals

But do you really believe that or are you just pissed off ( and quite rightly so ) with tonights performance in general ?

It seems a bit harsh to just pick Cox out tonight because he happened to have a particularly good game at the weekend. You seem to have already written off the rest of his season on the basis of tonight.

I'm a bit reluctant to argue too much as you two were obviously at the game and I only listened to the crappy radio commentary. But I am curious as to why Slade brought Richards and Carole off then and not Cox ?

Oh dear, this is getting rather embarrassing. This is not the first time I've written Richards instead of Livermore

I seem to have a mental block over those two.

I think everyone at the game was baffled by the carole sub as well

I wasn't there Brett but looking at what you've written, if no-one's down the line to take a pass then why not just put the ball out - simples eh?

Exactly what I was saying after his performence on Saturday. Everybody raved about him, many changing their opinions now calling him a great player, and having one good game doesn't mean that's the case.

We were doing that anyway, loads of aimless long balls. Maybe Livermore was trying to stop that and play a pass. It resulted in him dallying on the ball and getting caught out. Maybe it was Livermores inexperience as a left back

I'm confused, I thought the long balls were done only under Adams.???
