The prize is voted on by 50 journalists from newspapers, magazines and TV channels around Europe. Bellingham won the main player award (for U21s - Ferguson was shortlisted in final 25). Seems to be quite prestigious on the continent, hadn't heard of it before myself I must admit.

Jude Bellingham collected the 2023 Golden Boy Award for Europe's best under-21 player on Monday, after receiving a record-breaking 485 of a possible 500 points from the jury.

I certainly did not want him in the shop window any more than he has been, but these awards do that i'm afraid. I'm hopng he is with us for a long time.
