I wonder if there's a degree of misjudgement by De Zerbi. With most non-fan-owned clubs the fans will generally back the manager if he makes complaints about the board, who are generally seen as men in suits and who don't understand the game. I don't think you'll find many/any genuine Brighton fans that would side with a manager over Tony Bloom, not just becuase of the financial investment he's made but also the clear understanding he has on statistical analysis of the game.One clear message in all of this:-
'If you come for the king, you better make sure your whole army is behind you'.
(It never will be)
*When I say fan-owned, I mean clubs like Barca that are owned by a collective of supporters. Our owner is clearly a fan.
