He kept telling everyone they deserved to goWe cannot match his ambitions he has only been honest from day 1. He probably did not expect all his best players would be sold over 18 months. Good luck to him. He will win trophies
When Potter left we were on a good run of form. We’re currently on a bad run of form. If we suddenly start winning again before the end of the season then I’d imagine the reaction would be very different.People cried in their own piss when Potter left, RDZ our best ever manager at this level and some people don’t seem arsed. I mean all he wanted was some help as he warned this current situation would happen if we didn’t strengthen in January
That's true, he seems full of contradictions...a complicated guy.He kept telling everyone they deserved to go
To be fair to Emery, I'd suggest that money and hungry players desperate to do well are what all managers need for any significant success.Emery needs a club with money and hungry players desperate to do well. That way he can be paid loads, and have some chance of success with his cerebral, empathy-free and demanding coaching approach.
Villa is perfect for him.
Emery at United would be a flop like the Arsenal adventure, with precious Big I Am players rejecting his pressure and sulking at the lack of hugs and kisses.
He would be a manager I would like us to try and tempt away if RDZ left.I watched plucky on Saturday they played better than we have for a long time. He gets them moving the ball forward very quickly I don’t think he believes in fannying around at the back.
I like many were getting annoyed with him keep going on about our best players shouldn't be with us. He got his wish and has since then moaned. That's true, he seems full of contradictions...a complicated guy.
He frequently bigged up many of our players "he deserves to play at a higher level/a big club/Champions League level"
I'd be quite happy as I cant see him recapturing our peak RDZ form here, and would be an elegant way for all parties to separate company, plus TB would get his compensation. I just dont see any big club actually going for him though tbh.
There is a chance the man has learnt since Arsenal, he bashed up Artetta tactically on Sunday and nullified them second half.Emery needs a club with money and hungry players desperate to do well. That way he can be paid loads, and have some chance of success with his cerebral, empathy-free and demanding coaching approach.

We have definitely regressed this season for various reasons.Just some context. Bournemouth are having a good season - of course they are - but they'd argue - unless they hang around on here - that so are we.
That's pretty much true . It was as if he was schizo:I like many were getting annoyed with him keep going on about our best players shouldn't be with us. He got his wish and has since then moaned.
Instead of moaning he needs to adapt or f*** off.
They won’t be on the bench … because of injuries they have to play. It's interesting how quickly the perception of RDZ (passionate motivator) morphs into something different at the prospect of his landing at Old Trafford.
I agree with you - they would struggle to cope with him. Especially the players. Can you imagine the faces of Mount, Erikson and Diallo on their bench, as an irate RDZ screams 'f***ing focus' at them during the match?
Something in me would . . . .love to see it . . . . #badfan
Yes he did! Very complicated guy .He also said Pedro, Mitoma, Enciso aren’t ready to move on
We had won the early season games in the sunshine does that mean that much? We then went to Fulham and made a complete mess of it. No guarantee we would of achieved top six under Potter as he has a pattern of starting reasonably well before a long lull during the colder months. When Potter left we were on a good run of form. We’re currently on a bad run of form. If we suddenly start winning again before the end of the season then I’d imagine the reaction would be very different.

Bang on correct. I don't understand the haters on here. He succeded in bringing us to another level, unfortunately, our transfer policy cannot sustain that level of success. If he does go to UTD the rest of the league had best watch out, they will be formidable. We cannot match his ambitions he has only been honest from day 1. He probably did not expect all his best players would be sold over 18 months. Good luck to him. He will win trophies
TalkSPORT talk endlessly about every potential player/managerial signing for every big club with United and Liverpool being the two most talked about of the big six. If you HAVEN’T heard TalkSPORT or Sky or the Mail or any other f***ing outlet talking about DeZerbi to xxxx then they’re not doing their (extremely limited editorial) job very well.Heard about this on talk sport last week but lots of possibles with the United job. Only today they were discussing Emery as next united manager and would he leave Villa for them?
