He’s not a fan of referees full stop unless decisions go his way all game. He’s an obsessive about winning. It’s what makes him brilliant, charismatic, flawed and stroppy. You either like it or you hate it.

I love it…..
Show me a happy loser etc…..

Edit - sure he met his match with Tony/Barber etc…. But I love that he wanted it as much as everyone, the knee slide at Arsenal was unforgettable, as were the scenes at Forest….

Seems on twitter a few Marseille fans getting fed up already, saying maybe he should admit he got their midfield completely wrong but didn’t change it

Did you love his media bad loser attitude and digs at the club in his interviews and comments when he gave up last season?

There are ways of doing things but he makes EVERYTHING about him
It worried me a lot less than it worried others, as I knew he wouldn’t get his own way.
I enjoyed the European trips he got us too, and a lot of that has to do with winning mentality, sure there are different ways, and I’m happy (as you know) with a defensive approach as winning is the most important thing.

Considering he ‘gave up’and had a terrible injury crisis we still achieve our 3rd best ever finish.

79% possession and lost 3.0! 😂

I would suggest he’d be better off looking at that shortcoming in his tactics rather than constantly berating referee’s.
Quite.

Milan rumours also appeared again this weekend..
Milan will be his 9th club as a manager. I reckon he’ll have managed over 10 clubs by the time he’s 50…to go with his 14 as a player. No wonder his wife has given up moving with him.

His relationships with clubs are like affairs. Lots of action, emotion, theatricals and drama! It is always too much for the club and too much for him when it all explodes.

What’s weird about that whole exit was Barber was constantly saying how much he enjoyed working with him and what a fantastic job he was doing despite all the injuries on media outlets (essentially TS) going late into the season.

The ‘found out’ in my mind was nonsense. We weren’t found out for the first half of the season, conveniently it was the narrative used by some when the injury pile up happened and we didn’t strengthen in January.
We will never know the full story so pointless guessing and we move on.
