That album was a way into hop hop for a lot of indie kids. It opened my mind.

I had been at uni for a year or so and, having arrived as a metaler, this was now being ditched and my mind opened up to all sorts of new music. This album fascinated me at the time and I have loved it ever since. Whilst I’m not into hip hop in general, this album has certainly played a part in my accepting any music on its own terms regardless of genre etc.
