An absolute Rolls Royce of a footballer, genuine Premier League quality through and through although I still don't think we've really tapped his full potential. Maybe that's a criticism of Davy himself, he's been here long enough now to be showing his full range of flair and skills. We see in small doses how good he is, but 2 goals in 99 games is more Tommy Fraser than Jeff Minton!

On his day he’s been a key component of many of our quality PL games and 45 minute performances, eg outstanding at Watford, Arsenal and the second half at West Ham. Other PL games pass him, and his CM team-mates, by.

If we stay up, with better first team recruits, he may thrive.
