It seems to me that the Daily Mail came up with the wrong info (who’d thunk it) and everyone repeated. It’s also reported to be a record signing by Argus and others also probably just repeating info.
Personally don’t give a stuff. He looks pretty good to me and if our leaders want him that will do for me.

To be fair to the Daily Fail, they might have made a mistake with the price but they did get the scoop we were signing him before anyone else.

1 - All the players we have signed played well yesterday
2 - There are something like TWENTY THREE days left to sign people.....and this one has only come out the woodwork in the last 24 hours.

The club are clearly working hard on things and have already delivered. Very happy.

Exactly, some of the comments on here have been ridiculous. Specially ones referring to past seasons signings not being up to scratch when overall our recruitment has been great, ergo Premier League football this year.
