Inspired by Jack Straw's effort for Jose I.

To the tune of Davy's On The Road Again by Manfred Mann.

Davy's on the road again,
Wearing different clothes again
Davy's turned the game around
To keep us in the league.

Nobody stopped to ask if the chants would be Premier League ready.

Loved it at the Everton game. The couple of verses where it was changed to 'always gives the ball away during a particularly quiet period of the game and after Stephens had misplaced two passes in quick succession was bloody hilarious.

We met him a bar in old Amsterdam,
He was smoking a splif,
He was drinking a can,
Davy Propper, Oh Oh Davy Propper.

Is the 'he' Dale Stephens? or Davy Propper??

How about making it both of them.... 'THEY never give the ball away'

I hate that Earth, Wind and Fire chant, mainly for the reason we were winning 1-0 at Bmuff when people started singing it. That ended well...

For the older ones on here, surely something to the old 'Davy Crockett - king of the wild frontier'.

For example -

Davy, Davy Propper
King of the Albions Midfield.
