Really? They have done OK in Aus. Pattinson maybe like a lot of young quickies, good until their is a bit of footage on him, then the opposition work them out.

Ignoring today's game, a lot of their recent runs have been scored by the old guard (Ponting, Hussey, Clarke and Haddin). Are all of these going to be playing much longer? Is there anything coming through, as Marsh and a few of the others have struggled to date and if these are the best of the youngsters, that could be a concern.

yes, none of them are getting any younger, I don't think all four of them will make the Ashes..... there is an awful lot of cricket to be played that year. I think there is still some fight left in the Aussies but I can't place them above us or south Africa, they are just lucky the Indians are in free fall and have home advantage.

watched every ball of this innings and what i can say is that the indians bowled a massive sack of shite - mostly short and wide. even when warner was creaming it they had three slips / two slips and a gully in.... either they dont give a shite and are dreaming of this years IPL cheque or they have written this one off and cant wait to go home.

If warner played like that against anderson and broad he'd last about three overs, just like hughes did

After a good start to his test career, he rapidly became a walking wicket.

Yeah, Hughes got two centuries in his first few tests and look at him. I'd like to see Warner get some runs against a serious attack (England or SA) before we can say whether he's the real thing or not. But a test ton in 70-odd balls is not to be sniffed at whatever the opposition

true! it was good fun to watch
